Cafe called The Run For Your Bun which is part of the David Lloyd Clubs hopes to encourage office workers who often sit all day in the office to be more active during lunch.
Under the supervision of a trainer, hungry customers will be guided to perform high intensity HIIT workout on stationary bike and treadmill, followed by sit-ups, squats and knee bend.
In return, the customer can choose the package free menu that includes dishes such as grilled chicken breast burger with tomato and green leaf salad with smoked salmon or grilled cheese.
The cafe hopes to encourage its customers to counter the effects of sitting all day in the office.
"According to our research, office workers spend nearly 90 percent of working time to sit down and become inactive, even always have lunch at their desks. The problem is exacerbated by the increasing number of food delivery applications," said innkeeper, Elaine Denton.
Even so, this restaurant does not require all customers to exercise beforehand. It is only intended for those who want to eat for free.
